In their book, "Sing," Keith & Kristyn Getty wrote about the idea of songs that you want to grow old with, meaning they are meaningful, beautiful, and they will stand the test of time and you won't grow tired of them as trends change. (They have also talked at their conferences about "timeless" songs and the pursuit of writing those kinds of songs.)
So, it got me thinking, and I created a playlist of songs that I want to grow old with.

It’s a thought that has definitely given me some pause and made me think more critically about the songs I’m spending my time listening to, and about the songs that I’m writing.
